Christopher LaRose, PhD, has over 12 years of experience evaluating public health programs and building capacity to address preventable diseases. His body of work includes managing projects that focus on implementing evaluations as well as those that provide technical assistance on HIV monitoring and evaluation in both the domestic and international contexts. Dr. La Rose’s various duties have included managing programs focused on coordinating multiple in-person and virtual, web-based, trainings and developing curricula and materials for those trainings, managing subcontractors and interacting with clients and stakeholders, developing training curricula and directly facilitating trainings, and leading teams of TA providers providing technical assistance to clients and stakeholders. In terms of evaluation, he has developed trainings on both qualitative and mixed methods program evaluation and has led multi-site/multi-country evaluations that relied on multiple sources of quantitative data, including surveys, Web-based instruments, focus groups and interviews.
